Indian Railways Pair With Microsoft Kaizala to Extend Healthcare Services to Its Employees

Indian Railways has joined hands with Microsoft Kaizala to extend healthcare services to its erstwhile and retired employees. The services will include easy access to the facilities from 125 railway and 133 private recognized hospitals. The Kaizala Group, currently managed by the doctors from South Central Railways, will be assisted in the purpose by a group of doctors, nurses, and paramedics.

To access the services, users will have to register online, following which they will be able to search Microsoft Kaizala and locate neighboring hospitals, doctors, health units, and a list of empaneled diagnostic centers. Microsoft Kaizala will also let employees book doctor’s appointments, share their respective diagnostic lab reports directly with doctors, and use ‘Me Chat’ to save the digital records. They will also have access to key announcements and the ability to share their feedback regarding medical services using built-in action cards.

Kaizala is effectively allowing Indian Railways to communicate directly with their employees through mediums like achievement bulletins, educative bulletins, and informative bulletins that are being used to spread awareness regarding CPR, general first aid, vaccination, and immunization. The doctors on board the Kaizala group can easily access an employee’s medical history, pull out case sheets, and effectively make timely decisions. As a mobile-only product, Kaizala makes it easier for organizations to seamlessly communicate, collaborate, and complete tasks while enjoining desktop and mobile users.
