In order to differentiate itself from its rivals, Instagram, an American photo and video sharing social networking service, has been growing its platform ever since it launched in 2010 by introducing user-friendly features to improve the user experience.
Instagram Reels is one of the social networking platform’s most popular and distinctive features. The firm has been refining the user experience by adding more euphoric particles since the feature’s initial release in 2020. Initially, features allow users to record 15-second, 30-second, and 60-second long Reels, but in April this year, the firm rolled out 90-second long Reels, as we reported.
Instagram Reels Visibility
However, as we just discovered in a Twitter post from the popular, reliable Instagram leaker, it seems the firm is working on creating an ability to make Reels visible once only to close friends.
The upcoming features are expected to feature Audience, Tag people, and Request remixes, as disclosed by the well-known tech tipster Alessandro Paluzzi. When officially rolled out, users can share their reels with everyone or close friends only. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the features don’t affect the user’s privacy.
How To Create Instagram Reels
Users can share their reels in a dedicated area on the Explore page, on the narrative, or via direct message. Like TikTok videos, Instagram Reels may appear on the Explore page, making them accessible to those who don’t even follow you. This means that your clips can be found by the larger community merely based on involvement, regardless of whether you have a sizable audience or not.
Reels can be recorded either by uploading videos from your library or by recording a series of clips one at a time. You can start recording the first clip by pressing and holding the capture button. As you record, a progress bar will appear at the top of the screen. The record button must be pressed to finish each clip. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
