Intel, on November 4, has released the brand new Xe Max and moreover has promised to deliver Intel Server GPUs this year which is said to be based on the Xe-LP model of the mechanism.
The company has further mentioned the launch of Xe-HP and Xe-HPG products to be due in the coming 2021. In addition to this, a Xe-HP server GPU code which is named NEO pops up on the GEELbech.
This brand new GPU is loaded with features that are capable enough to leave users dumbstruck. The GPU has a 4096 stream processor called 512EU.
The frequency of the GPU is said to be 1.15 GHz. The perks do not end here. The video memory of the GPU is 6GB. On the other hand, in contrast to this GPU, the first of Intel’s Xe Max is only 96 EU, in terms of processor.
It is heard that Intel is all set to launch two graphics card series next year. The two graphics card series, Xe-HP (Arctic Sound) and Xe-HPG (DG2) are expected to be based on the Xe graphics architecture.
The former Xe-HP is expected to have three models, namely: 1-tile (512 EU), 2-tile (1024 EU), and 4-tiles (2048 EU). The same Xe-HP series is expected to use HBM2 video memory. While the Xe-HP is expected to have a minimum of three models and aims at data centers, the later Xe-HPG aims to target the gaming market by using GDDR6 video memory and support hardware ray tracing.
