Apple is avidly moving on with its Face ID feature which the iPhone XR has paved for the non-flagship Face ID phones. Contrary to what we have previously seen, we now no longer believe the design of a new SE 2 would be built upon the iPhone 8. Instead, it can be more akin to a smaller iPhone XR with fewer premium materials.
A concept video released lately suggests that the new iPhone SE 2 will almost have a similar design but with one key difference; a glass back for Qi wireless charging. That’s unlikely, given that the iPhone XR doesn’t have wireless charging.
Rumors suggest that the iPhone SE will retain its current, enormously popular, smaller screen size of 4-inches. It is supposed to introduce a cheaper iPhone and could help the company increase sales of its handsets again. The entry-level iPhone taking iPhone XR in concern is retailed at $749, whereas the iPhone SE used to retail for $349.
The successor to the iPhone SE is shown in four color options: red, gold, silver, and blue. Additionally, the volume rocker and alert slider could be housed on the left side, while the SIM tray and the power on/off button might be placed on the right side.
It is rumored that the iPhone SE 2 could be launched in spring. Since nothing is much known yet, we cannot rely entirely on the information mentioned above as it is just a concept video. But yes, it does bring good news for all Apple fans!
