After the hardware malfunction of the iPhone 7, it seems like a new hassle has appeared for Apple. Just three months after launching the iPhone X, owners are said to be reporting a very peculiar bug in the newly launched Apple flagship.
On the Apple forum, hundreds of users have complained that they are finding it difficult to pick up an incoming call. It is outrageous to see that a device worth $1000 is finding it a toilsome task to answer a phone call, which any old-school mobile can do with no bother.
As per the users, the iPhone x calls issue is with the phone’s display not getting turned on at the moment of receiving the call and is taking almost 10 seconds to flash the call-screen, making it a very unpleasant job for both caller and the receiver.
Whenever I receive an incoming call in my iPhone X, ringtones start but the display comes in after 6-8 seconds. – Consumer on the Apple forum.
We can clearly see the number of complaints regarding this issue which is escalating day by day. Though Apple has tested some primitive solutions like rebooting the device, unplugging the battery, or even replacing the phone, none of these seem to straighten out the solution. To justify this, a customer posted,
Man I am facing exactly the same problem. I thought there was a problem with the device so I went to Apple service support in my country and gave to me a brand new replacement which has the same problem. It is definitely a software issue. Apple should do something about it as it is very annoying and I am losing my calls. – iPhone X user.
The company has given official remark on this as, “looking into these reports”. Even though it is not known whether the software or the hardware is causing this bug, Apple has assured the consumers to come-up with a solution as soon as possible.
