Jeep, in collaboration with Razor has officially announced the unveiling of a new Jeep Razor RX200 electric off-road scooter, priced at $499 (about 3178.63 yuan).
The newly unveiled Jeep Razor RX200 electric off-road scooter does not seem to differ much from the already available Razor RX200 that is currently sold for US$318 on Amazon.
The new electric scooter will similarly be driven by a rather weak 200W electric motor, which will allow it to reach a top speed of 12 mph. According to the official spec sheet, the maximum rider weight for this scooter is only 154 lb, which may be a problem for many adult riders.
The Jeep Razor RX200’s 168 Wh lead-acid battery provides a ride time of roughly 40 minutes, and the entire weight of this electric off-road scooter is a little under 40 lb.
Even though the Jeep Razor RX200 does not have a true off-road suspension like the Okai ES800, its massive 8-inch tires and dual LED lighting should allow it to handle more or less rugged terrain with relative ease. The price of this new electric off-road scooter starts at $499 USD.
The scooter isn’t designed for long meandering rides or all-day mountain path traverses, as it only has 168 Wh of battery capacity from outdated lead-acid technology. Instead, it’s more likely to be utilized as a leisure scooter for shorter trips and pleasure rides.
The electric off-road scooter weighs just under 40 pounds. Razor has been a global leader in scooters since 2000, going by the company’s official website. Since 2000, Razor has sold over 50 million scooters, including over 15 million electric scooters.
Speaking about the newly unveiled electric scooter, Jim Wagner, Razor Scooter’s President said:
“Razor is always looking for creative ways to excite our riders and provide an exhilarating adventure. We are thrilled to collaborate with the iconic Jeep brand to create the Razor Jeep RX200, which is powerful enough for the off-road capability to go explore the outdoors.”
