Reliance Jio has entered into a unique long term alliance with Microsoft Technologies as announced by Mukesh Ambani at the 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) in Mumbai. As a part of the newly announced partnership, Reliance will set up a network of large world-class data centers across the country, which will be powered by Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform.
Mukesh Ambani says that Reliance Industries Limited will induct leading global partners and move towards the listing of both the companies within the next five years. It will leverage the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to develop innovative cloud solutions focused on the needs of Indian businesses.

Jio and Microsoft’s combination will bring powerful tools and platforms for computers, storage, productivity, and more to enhance the adoption of leading technologies as well as help accelerate technology-led GDP growth in India.
In addition to the partnership with Microsoft, the Reliance Jio chairman also announced that the company would support the budding startups by offering the cloud technology and connectivity for free. This service will be available to all the startup in the country who registers on Jio.com.
