After a long hiatus, Lenovo has finally launched not only one but three smartphones. At the same time, the company has also released a new smartwatch called Watch X. On June 5th, Lenovo released three phones in Beijing: Lenovo Z5, Lenovo K5 Note, and Lenovo A5.
All three smartphones are equipped with almost all of the latest trends in the smartphone market to take on other smartphones. The Lenovo Z5 uses a 6.2-inch screen, and the screen ratio is 19:9. It will come with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. Lenovo is going with the ‘bigger the screen, the better motto.
The screen-to-body ratio of this smartphone is 90%. It also has 16 MP and 8 MP dual rear cameras with AI optimization. The front-facing camera is 8 MP, and this one too comes with an AI beauty selfie mode. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and has a battery capacity of 3300 mAh. It is priced at 1299 yuan ($203) for the 6GB/64GB black version, 1399 yuan ($218) for the 6GB/64GB blue or aurora version, and 1799 yuan ($281) for the 6GB/128GB blue or aurora version.
Lenovo K5 has a 6-inch screen, and the screen is almost bezel-less. The screen ratio is 18:9 and has a battery capacity of 3760 mAh. It comes in three color options: black, gold and blue. Lenovo K5 runs on a 14nm octa-core Snapdragon chip and has 4GB of RAM. It also has a dual rear camera of 16 MP. The rear camera comes with an AI, but the front camera is like any other camera without the AI. The front-facing camera is 8 MP. Lenovo K5 Note is priced at 999 yuan ($156) for the 4GB/64GB version and 799 yuan ($125) for the 3GB/32GB version.
Lenovo A5 comes with a somewhat smaller screen of 5.45 inches; the screen ratio is 18:9 with an HD screen, and the screen-to-body ratio is 80.9%. It too comes in three colors: black, rose gold, and gold. It has the storage option of 16 GB or 32 GB and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. It comes with a better security system as it supports fingerprint and face unlocking. The 3GB+16GB version of the Lenovo A5 is priced at 599 yuan ($94).
