Lenovo’s Notebook Codenamed 21D9Z48KUS Appeared on Geekbench

The 2022 CES exhibitions, which will kick off at the start of 2022 for all the tech companies, are scheduled to take place at the beginning of next month. Every year, the exhibitions play the role of one of the most important events that lets various tech companies introduce their products for the first quarter of a new year to their users. As such, as is the case every year, various manufacturers will introduce and launch a new generation of laptops, ranging from gaming laptops to thin and light laptops.

In most cases, the newly introduced laptops are likely to come equipped with the latest NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti, etc. Before this year ends, a new notebook from the tech company Lenovo has made its appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website, indicating that Lenovo might start off the first quarter of 2022 by introducing a new notebook.

On the Geekbench website, the new Lenovo laptop bears the code-name 21D9Z48KUS. The listing reveals that the notebook will run on Alder Lake which is Intel’s codename for the 12th generation of Intel Core processors. Therefore, the upcoming notebook from Lenovo will be equipped with the upcoming i7-12700H processor.

The topology of the CPU consists of 1 processor along with 14 cores and 20 threads. The CPU’s regular operating point is clocked at 2.69 GHz whereas its maximum frequency is clocked at 4588 MHz. Furthermore, the Lenovo notebook is equipped with 6 large cores and 8 small cores, along with 24MB of L3 cache. The notebook offers 8GB of DDR5-4800 memory.

Previously, another notebook appeared on the Geekbench website. The notebook was from ASUS and it was called Lingyao notebook. The Geekbnch listing revealed that the new ASUS notebook will come equipped with the i7-12700H processor; however, the memory offered for this laptop is DDR5-4400 which indicates that the new generation of notebooks will use DDR5 memory of different frequencies.
