LG launches cheap gaming display; the 32QK500-W a 32-inch 4K monitor

LG has launched a 32-inch QHD monitor packed with AMD’s FreeSync with an 8ms response time, making it a decent gaming monitor. The new model uses a 2560 x 1440 resolution screen, based upon IPS technology, with a 99% sRGB gamut.

To all the game enthusiasts out there, the monitor boasts as the LG’s reasonable stylish Edge-ArcLine stand that supports tilt adjustment, but can also be mounted to a wall.

Additionally, it has the DAS mode (Dynamic Action Sync) which minimizes input lag. On the other hand, The LG 32QK500-W features an 8-bit + FRC 31.5-inch IPS panel that comes with a 2560×1440 resolution, 300 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 75 Hz refresh rate (with FreeSync), an 8 ms response time, and 178°/178° viewing angles. The monitor can display 1.07 billion colors (a rare feature in this class) and is rated at 72% NTSC CIE1931.

It also touts its latest feature that lessens eye fatigue when working on text documents with its low blue light mode on. It is currently listed at many of the company’s websites around the world which is likely to hit the market shortly. The price of the new unit in Japan is estimated to be ¥34,800 ($307) without tax, so it is safe to say that the monitor will retail for $299 in the US.
