We finally get to know about the final design of LG’s next flagship smartphone, the LG G8 ThinQ, now that the press renders of the smartphone have been leaked, thanks to Evan Blass, who posts online press renders of unreleased devices.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a design similar to that of the iPhone X and comes with a notch on the top, a slightly curved screen at the edges, and numerous bezels on the side, the top, and the bottom. Also visible are various antenna bands piercing through the metal frame.

The rear of the phone comprises a dual-lens camera positioned horizontally and a fingerprint sensor. The phone’s rear panel might be made of glass to support wireless charging.

Moreover, a 3.5mm port will be on the bottom right next to the USB-C connector. G8 ThinQ will furthermore include a relatively large SIM tray on the right side for SIM card(s) and microSD card. There is an extra button on the left side of the phone for the purpose of digital assistants.

It is probable that this smartphone model might receive a secondary screen, although its functionality is unclear as of now.

The LG G8 ThinQ is slated to be unveiled during LG’s press conference at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain.  LG has already provided confirmation about the name of the phone’s 3D front camera with authentication similar to Face ID, which can even translate hand gestures into actions on the screen (as per a teaser).

The premium phone is likely to cost around $900 in the US.
