LG announced on 18th February 2020 that it is going to introduce three new smartphones, the LG K61, K51S, and the K41S, under its LG K-series, launched in 2016. The three smartphones are similar in terms of its display screen, which is 6.5-inch, the quad-camera set up on its back, and the 4000mAh battery.
The LG K61 has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a punch hole cut-out in its front screen that houses the selfie camera. It runs on a 2.3GHz octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB/ 128 GB of data storage. The quad-camera set-up includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP super wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The front-facing shooter is 16MP.
The LG K51S offers an aspect ratio of 20:9, and runs on the same 2.3 GHz octa-core processor, with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The quad-camera set up consists of a 32MP primary sensor, a 5MP super wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie shooter is of 13MP.
LG K41S offers an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a 6.5-inch display screen that comes with HD+ resolution. It runs on a 2.0GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which could be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The quad-camera on its back comes with an LED flash, and the set-up includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP super wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is of 8MP.
LG has not revealed the pricing for the new K-series smartphones yet. Neither have they talked about the release dates. But it is expected that the LG K-series: LG K61, LG K51S, LG K41S smartphones will hit the shelves in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2020.
