This week seems to be an exciting period for mobile smartphone companies as they keep launching new smartphones with innovative specifications just a few days before the Mobile World Congress 2019 that will take place in Barcelona.
LG has unveiled three new budget-friendly phones – LG Q60, LG K50, and LG K40- all comprising AI features, a rear fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, and a Google Assistant button equipped with DTS:X 3D surround sound for earphones and 7.1 channel surround sound system. The smartphones also sport MIL-STD 7810G compliance with the capability of withstanding high and low temperatures, vibrations, impact, thermal shock, and humidity.
Specific details of each phone are given below.
LG Q60
This model is the best among the newly-released smartphones owing to its stylish design, the triple camera set up at the back, and a waterdrop notch design.
Equipped with a 6.26-inches FullVision LCD display and an aspect ratio of 19:9 HD+ screen resolution, the LG Q60 includes an Octa-core SoC (2Ghz at the peak), 3GB RAM, and 64GB built-in storage expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD. The Q60 measurements are 161.3 x 77 x 8.7mm.
Pre-installed with Android Pie OS, the battery capacity is of 3,500mAh.
The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
LG K50
Sporting a 6.26-inches FullVision display with HD+ screen resolution with a display aspect ratio of 19.5:9, the smartphone comes with storage of 3GB RAM and built-in 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 2TB using MicroSD.
The phone includes a waterdrop notch design and a rear fingerprint sensor. The connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
It has a dual camera setup, with a primary camera of 13MP with Phase Detection Autofocus and a secondary camera of 2MP with a depth-sensing sensor. The front camera is 13MP.
LG K40
Having a standard 18:9 display, the K40 features a 5.7-inch HD+ FullVision Display with dimensions of 153 x 71.9 x 8.3mm. The model also includes traditional bezels at the top and bottom of the display.
With 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage capacities (expandable), the K40 features a rear camera of 16MP and a front camera of 8MP.
The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
The newly launched smartphones – LG Q60, K50, and K40- will be demonstrated by LG at the MWC 2019 which will take place from February 25-28.
