The LG G7, the company’s first rendition of an Android One smartphone, launched at IFA in August 2018, has been renamed to LG Q9 One for its launch in South Korea. The device retains its initial specs of sporting a dedicated Google Assistant button, a notch display, MIL-STD 810G, and IP68 certification.
So far as its exterior is concerned, its dimensions are 153.20 x 71.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness). The device has a weight of 156.00 grams. On its anterior, the LG Q9 One has been equipped with a 19.5:9, 6.1-inch FullVision display with a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels and a PPI of 546 pixels per inch. Internally, its octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and Adreno 540 GPU pack in a punch with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage, expandable up to 2TB by an external SD card. The handset combines an IP68-rated glass-sandwich design, certified MIL-STD 810G for durability with a fingerprint scanner mounted on its back.
LG Q9 One sports a 16MP single rear camera setup with f/1.6 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture. Being an Android One device, it shall have a stock Android 9 Pie out of the box. The handset receives its power from a 3,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0, and can stay connected via 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0.
LG Q9 One shall start selling in South Korea exclusively via LG U+ from 15th February 2019, in a shade of Moroccan Blue for KRW 5,99,500 (approximately Rs. 37,940).
