With the Q series, LG has now for some time working on a new mid-range series of smartphones in the market. After the first sightings of last September, the device was shown again in a new render, which revealed the showy notch on the top of the display in the 19: 9 format.
Previously, the Korean company did not intend to use this element on the Q9 but the new LG Q9 with very important news, which totally changes the cards on the table: the notch. Now the model has a decidedly more modern appearance, with much-reduced edge both at the top and at the bottom, while the rounded corners remain unchanged.
The LG Q9 is to be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 and 4 GB RAM. The display should be 6.1 inches tall, own a Notch and dissolve with FullHD+. Depending on the model, there are 32 GB or 64 GB of internal memory. There’s also NFC and a 3,550 mAh battery. Preinstalled is still Android 8.1 Oreo, which could possibly change until the launch.
While the smartphone’s rear panel is not visible in the render it will include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Like the other LG smartphones, the Q9 too will also have the manufacturer’s custom user-interface layer running on top.
Well, the other details such as pricing and availability will only be revealed once the smartphone is officially unveiled.
