Lovers of LG smartphones are looking forward to 2 May 2018, the release date of the LG G7 ThinQ. But this year, another premium smartphone from the Korean manufacturer is expected, the V35 ThinQ, will replace the V30 / V30s ThinQ.
LG smartphone with artificial intelligence
At the IFA 2017, the V30 was introduced as the best LG smartphone ever. It was the first device from the manufacturer with an OLED display, a 6-inch screen with a QHD + resolution. The smartphone has a clear focus on photography. The LG V30 has a dual camera with a 16-megapixel resolution, a bright f / 1.6 lens, and a 13-megapixel resolution with a 120° wide-angle lens.
Earlier this year, LG AI (artificial intelligence) was added to this model, as a result of which the V30s ThinQ was born. This mobile phone has Vision AI technology, which is why the smart camera excels in low-lying photography. The recording can also recognize situations and adjust the camera settings accordingly. Another new function made possible by artificial intelligence is improved speech recognition.
LG V35 ThinQ and LG G7
Insiders believe that the successor to the V30 will not be the V40 but the V35. The first reports about the LG V35 are starting to get underway so there are already a lot of specifications that seem to be known. Remarkably, this top model does not seem to have a notch. It is now known that the G7 will get a notch.
The LG G7 that will be unveiled next month will also have artificial intelligence. LG calls this ‘ThinQ’. That is why the smartphones are also called G7 ThinQ and V35 ThinQ. The G7 will be the first AI smartphone from LG that you can also buy in the Netherlands.
Furthermore, the V35 looks like its predecessor, a 6-inch OLED display with an 18: 9 aspect ratio. This type of display still retains LG exclusively for its premium V-series. The G7 will have a regular LCD display.
Improved dual camera
In addition, the camera of the LG V35 ThinQ is equipped with better specs. There is the talk of a double camera with a 16-megapixel resolution. One camera has a bright f / 1.6 lens and is 10-bit HDR compatible. The other camera has a wide-angle lens with an angle of view of 107˚. This double camera will also be used for the first time in the G7 ThinQ.
Also in the field of audio, the V-series smartphone will not disappoint. The V35 will support 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, as is the case with the V30.
It is still difficult to predict at the moment when an LG V35 ThinQ introduction will take place. It is known that you can buy the phone in two different colors; black and gray both with a premium glossy finish. For the time being, we assume that the mobile will be available in 2018 from the last quarter.
