LG is heading towards the launch of its new smartphone LG V40. This smartphone is known to be one of the upgraded versions of the LG V30 with some unique features. LG V40 is expected to launch in the second half of 2018. LG has not revealed any source regarding this device, but we received a third-party concept design video that demonstrates what the phone will look like.
Sources say that the actual design may differ from the videos. It shows that LG V40 closely resembles LG V30. So, to drive the users’ attention, the smartphone will be seen to be loaded with some of the exclusive features that differentiate it from the LG V30. This flagship will feature a 6.1-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) P-OLED HDR10 and Dolby Vision-compliant display. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, it offers 6GB of RAM and 8GB RAM. The storage capacity also comes in 64GB and 128GB versions.
After discussing the basic features, we move on to this phone’s second and another eye-catching feature. LG V40’s rear camera comes with two 19 MP sensors with an f/1.6 aperture, OIS, and PDAF. The front camera will feature a single 13 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The rear cameras are placed horizontally with dual LED flash on the right side of the shooters and an autofocus sensor at the left side.
With its metal and glass body, LG V40 is expected to grab attention with its bezels around the display, which are much thinner. Corning Gorilla Glass 6 will be protecting the phone. It will support battery life to 4000mAh. LG V40 will have an IP68 waterproof and dustproof build. Available in four radiant colors Blue, Red, Silver, and Black this phone will be seen to grab the market soon.
