Last week we were lucky enough to get a pretty clear picture of LG’s upcoming flagship device LG V40 ThinQ, thanks to the leaked press renders. The leaked images disclose details about the phone’s display and the triple camera setup. And now, just days after the first clear leak, we have a new set of renders, and it includes the flagship’s LG V40 ThinQ 360-degree video(yes, you read it right!), which gives us a precise view of the company’s upcoming smartphone and we can’t help being more excited!
The images of the smartphone indicated that it would come with all the trending smartphone features. The design appears to be a little different with the three sensors placed horizontally at the center of the rear panel in a single housing. The LED flash is seen towards the right. The fingerprint sensor is positioned beneath the camera module. According to Slashleaks and @OnLeaks, the V40 sports a 6.3-inch display – that’s 0.3 inches larger than the screens of its predecessors, the LG V30 and LG V35. As per reports, the phone measures 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, so it’s going to be taller and a tad bit wider and thicker than the V30 and V35 (both measuring 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm). With the camera bump, the thickness might go up to 8.2mm. If these dimensions are accurate, the V40 will be the third-largest high-end LG smartphone to date, ranked just below the 5-year-old LG G FLEX (160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9 mm) and the 3-year-old LG V10(159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm).
LG V40 ThinQ, just like the company’s recent launches, is expected to feature a button dedicated for Google Assistant on the left side of the phone, positioned below the volume control keys. The power button, on the other hand, will be placed on the phone’s right side. The new device packs a 3.5mm jack for the audiophiles and it will have a speaker at the bottom of the device. At the back, the triple camera setup is stacked neatly on the top along with the LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is placed below the camera setup and above the V40 ThinQ branding-all of which seems to corroborate the previous leaks.
The leaks, however, do not reveal the specifications. But it can be safely assumed that the phone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and sports 6 GB or 8 GB RAM. It could sport a P-OLED display and run on Android 9 Pie.
The estimated price hasn’t been revealed by any website as of yet but given the features, you know it’s going to hurt your pocket. But, you have time till 16th November when the phone is supposed to be unveiled.
