LinkedIn groups were once the major feature of the app. Still, with time, users usually lost interest in it as the groups were increasing with random spam and self-promotions to the extreme extent where the LinkedIn groups were not considered usable anymore.
If this addition of new features can set the group community correct then this can be a great opportunity for LinkedIn’s professional community and can also prove to be a great comeback in 2020 for LinkedIn Groups.
Lately, according to a Twitter post, we have found that LinkedIn adds some new features for improvements in its groups and to also go along the broader trends of increased in-app engagement.
LinkedIn groups can gain user interest again. According to a Twitter post -LinkedIn buttons just got bigger. This week, LinkedIn may have taken another step in that direction with the announcement of a new set of group updates and tools designed to help drive more engagement and interaction.
“Just noticed it as I scrolled. Shows slightly smaller if you don’t touch the post. It expanded to that size as I stopped on the post. I also got gifs and appointment book and send live location etc in my messaging reply options.” – Matt Navarra’s Twitter reply
Even Facebook searches got fancier as according to Matt Navarra.
Recently according to reports, iOS 13, the forthcoming version of the iPhone software, will provide a pop-up that informs users about how many times an individual app has used background location over the past few days.
It seems that this year Linkedin and Facebook are all ready to get fancier!
