LinkedIn users mentioned in the news can see their posts on the LinkedIn Feed. The largest professional networking site in the world has announced to integrate LinkedIn with Newsle – now it will officially be called LinkedIn Connections In The News.
In July 2014, LinkedIn acquired California-based start-up Newsle, which provides professional insights, like when anyone from your network is in the news. The new feature will be available to the users starting from today.
News in an email to the users, detailed how it will work on the LinkedIn platform:
- If you’re a LinkedIn member, you’ll start receiving Connections In The News emails in place of your Newsle emails on March 9. You’ll also see your connections in the news in your LinkedIn feed.
- Connections In The News emails will now only include updates from your LinkedIn connections.
- Effective April 12, we’ll be discontinuing some of Newsle’s features, including custom lists, profiles, widgets, and the Newsle.com web feed.
Another feature, not only you’ll be able to see the connection mentioned in the news, but you will also be able to see the companies in the news. If you’d like to get updates from the companies, just type the company name in the search bar, and you’ll start to see articles about it in your feed right away.
The company is also taking feedback from the users through their Help portal. If you have questions regarding your profile and data in the Newsle, you can contact the team directly here.
