Lyft, the transportation network company based in San Francisco, California, and Uber’s ride-hailing rival, has partnered with Metrolinx to serve as the official rideshare partner in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
Lyft will be the official rideshare partner of the Exhibition GO Transit, Oakville GO Transit, Unionville GO Transit, and Bramalea GO Transit stations.
GO Transit is a regional public transit system serving the Greater Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, Canada.
Metrolinx, a ‘Crown agency’, manages and integrates road and public transport in the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, Canada.
This move aims to help passengers avail Lyft services from its GO Transit station partners for an almost seamless journey towards their destination.
