Today, Finnish multinational telecommunications has officially rolled out the March Security update on Nokia G2 and Nokia 2.2.
The Nokia G20 and Nokia 2.2 are the first Nokia smartphone to receive the March security update 2022.
Users can install the Nokia G20 security update for just 23.89 MB data size, while the Nokia 2.2 security update for 25.07 MB size.
For the update, users can check for the March update by heading to Settings, searching for system updates, and then checking for it or being prompted to download this update by the system.
The Nokia G20 is available in markets in India, UAE and Australia. While the Nokia 2.2 is only available in Pakistan.
According to Google official Security bulletin, the March security updates on the duo smartphones aim at addressing the most serious of these flaws is a significant security flaw in the System component, which could allow for remote escalation of privilege without the requirement for additional execution privileges.
The severity rating is based on the impact that exploiting the vulnerability could have on an affected device, assuming that the platform and service mitigations are disabled for development purposes or that the vulnerability is successfully bypassed.
