As planned, today comes Mario Kart Tour, the latest crazy racing game from Nintendo, now for mobile devices. The Mario Kart Tour game has been in pre-registration for about a month and today it can finally be downloaded on both Android and iOS.
The wait to try Mario Kart Tour on mobile has been relatively long: the first time we heard about the game was at the beginning of 2018 and its departure ended up being delayed. The wait finally comes to an end, although there are still a few hours left so you can start playing.
Throughout the races, we will travel maps inspired by emblematic places of our world, such as Paris, London or New York, although not all maps will always be available. A season will be activated every two weeks and with it a new batch of maps, so depending on when we play we will have access to some maps or others.
The company itself announced the fact that you could download the game a few hours before it was playable on your Facebook account.
“You can download the game from the App Store or Google Play before, but the game will not be playable until the launch. Thank you for your patience.” – Nintendo
This means that, if you download and install Mario Kart Tour before the date, what you will receive is a text notifying you that the game is in maintenance. You cannot do anything else, because when you press the button you will end up seeing the same message.
Although Mario Kart Tour for mobile phones is totally free, it includes in-app purchases to get more Rubies in packs ranging from $1.99 dollars to $49.99 dollars, but as we say all aspects of the game can be played for free, but Rubies packs.
The title includes some options of the classic desktop titles such as World Tour. This will allow competing in emblematic circuits of the saga, Carreras, to measure our forces against other riders and Collection, which will serve to get drivers, cars or scenarios as we move forward.
