Mark Zuckerberg says TikTok is a short edition of YouTube

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave an interview on October 13, Wednesday where he shared a few thoughts about himself and confessed to playing truant and forgetting to leave a note on the shift in social media.

Did anyone say Mark has missed the transmutation of social media? What if the statement comes from the prodigy Mark Zuckerberg himself, a quite out-of-common thing but not an unusual occurrence? While talking about the social media trends, Mark confessed that he was missed snatching a trend, whereas TikTok hadn’t left any vestige to hunt down.

However, now it has been somewhat occupied by Instagram Reels; mayhaps this would not have happened if TikTok wasn’t banned in a few countries, including India. We could say timidly that Mark Zuckerberg has changed the entire social media realm with his quintessential approach towards news feeds, which keeps users to get going in an otherworldly quagmire or getting lost in a world where only scrolling and laughing is possible, sometimes you may share the same content you have relished throughout the day with your friends or families.

The news feeds we had in the initial stage of social media were not gratifying, but we are glad to get them now; users discerned to get new feeds and engaging content through social network feeds. Mark Zuckerberg said, “In a world like this, it doesn’t matter who created the content you find; you just want to watch the best content.”

If a founder of a great social media network encountered a new guest in the business who would not be happy as Mark, he admitted that he missed the opportunity to bring something brought out by TikTok but later, he addressed the platform as a short version of YouTube. To reduce the noise blown out from the trumpet, he also said that TikTok is a “very efficient competitor”, and he confessed Meta was sauntering to team up with a new trend.  Mark Zuckerberg said that Meta should develop AI to endorse text, photos, etc., to users, not just short videos. “Sometimes I want to watch short videos, but many times I just want the best stuff,” he said.
