On 11th January 2021, Meizu announced that the company would host the Meizu New Force Winter New Product Launch Conference on January 12 at 14:30. The company launched PANDAER’s first desktop, Bluetooth speakers, and other products at the conference.
PANDAER, according to the Chinese brand Meizu, is a kind of fusion of trendy culture with technological experience, and a group of developers from Meizu is behind PANDAER. In the time that is yet to come, the company announced that PANDAER would expand its line of products, and among those lines, three such lines are called the PANDAER X, PANDAER Teochew, and PANDAER Life Research Institute.
As part of the free universe, as promised by this sub-brand, Meizu announced the Platinum Unicorn and the New Year’s tiger god called Qiaoyu of the surrounding world. The PANDAER Desktop Bluetooth Speaker will offer an excellent range of acoustic, and the Platinum Unicorn will bring with it a customized mecha coating, an all-around band, and of course it will offer an easy-to-use experience.
Meizu further revealed that its first product manufactured along with PANDAER X is the Meizu PANDAER x Elvis XOG Platinum Unicorn Cyber Speaker and that the project started with a crowdfunding price of 1199 yuan. The Bluetooth speaker features a platinum unicorn visual paint, variable RGB lighting, super-smart bass technology, and Flyme’s wonderful Lian.
A few online sources have pointed out that the speaker comes with ultra-thin sounding dual 48mm independent full-range units, a small volume subwoofer, a bass amplifier, a built-in Meizu sound, and other customized EQs. As mentioned above, the speaker comes encased inside an all-metal mecha shell with a painted unicorn. The speaker also has a customized Unicorn Halo light effect, 64 kinds of Halo colors, and an 80ms delay. The Bluetooth speaker also supports IPX5 waterproof, USB-C fast charging, and long battery life.
At the conference, the company mentioned that the PANDAER x IQUNIX super-touch transparent mechanical keyboard will likely go on sale after the Spring Festival at 799 yuan. The keyboard supports 80-key arrangements, which are swappable along with standard PBT keycaps.
Furthermore, the keyboard supports Bluetooth 5.1, and wireless 2.4G, and it runs on a 4000mAh battery. The keyboard can be equipped with Cherry red switches, green switches, brown switches, and silver switches, as well as TTC gold powder switches, white moon switches, ACE switches, and fast switches. The keycaps are made from thickened PBT material and designed with MDA curved spheres.
The company had also mentioned the launch of a new power bank with a fully transparent casing. The power bank has a battery capacity of 20000mAh and supports 118 W fast charging, and at the conference, the company launched a 130W version of the power bank that sports a fully transparent design.
The power bank is available for purchase at 999 yuan. The power bank has a battery capacity of 5000mAh, and supports, the 130W visual mobile power supply supports QC/PD multi-protocol fast charging. The 74Wh capacity can be carried on board.
