Along with the announcement of the Meizu 16X smartphone, Meizu was also working on some budget-friendly phones, and this time the company has launched its new budget smartphone called Meizu V8.
While Meizu 16X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, the Meizu V8 Smartphone is packed with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The device’s rear and the front is flat from edges which are made up of polycarbonate. On the whole, it looks pretty much same as the Meizu M813Q.
It features a 5.7-inches LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM + built-in native storage of 64GB with further expandable storage up to 128GB using MicroSD. The Meizu V8 sports a single 12MP rear camera, 5MP AI beauty mode front camera, and a 3,200mAh battery. While the Meizu V8 Pro has dual cameras set up on the rear side, 12MP+5MP, 3,100mAh battery, and the front-facing snapper is 5MP.
It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is packed with a 3,000mAh battery. On the rear, the phone also sports a circular fingerprint sensor.
The device will be available in two variants Blue and Black color options, and is priced at 799 (~$117) Yuan and 1098 (~$160) Yuan, respectively. It will go on sale from September 20 at 10 AM; keep tuning into our channel for more details.
