Meta Horizon v131 has been rolled out finally. In the current week, Meta is going to test a handful of new features for the improvement of experiences in the real world. Some of these features are mute assists, limited-edition rewards, new quests, and a lot more.
On top of that, Meta has also fixed the bugs that were causing a ruckus in the world builders.
Moving ahead in the article, we will discuss the new features in brief and address how they are going to impact the users.
Quality of Life Improvements by Meta
Mute assist: According to the user’s selected comfort level – off, low, medium, or high, mute assist will work. It can either automatically mute expletives used by other users on the platform or show a quick-access pop-up for the mute button.
The feature to available in certain worlds, including Bad Roommates, Venues, and Bobber Bay
At the time of testing, the feature will be available in certain worlds, including Bad Roommates, Arena Clash, Venues, and Bobber Bay.
In addition to that, the users should know that these features will not be available for everyone – just for a few limited users.
If you get the chance to try the feature, then first things first, configure the settings according to your preferences. After that, you can put your concentration on enjoying the world and creating meaningful connections without worrying about distractions.
Quests and Limited-edition Rewards
The experiments with quests and rewards are still on the cards from Meta’s side. All the people in the test group will be added to the quest board. The same quest board can be unlocked for limited-edition event rewards.
And the people who are not in the testing phase are not supposed to worry as pretty soon there will be more quests and rewards added to the same. Not only this but there are also a few design updates related to the way stickers attach to the names of the users. Whenever you add stickers to your name tag, you can see the title at the bottom.
For example, you achieved the Super Rumble rank or even your pronouns. These elements will now be affixed at the four outer corners.
