Today, the American multinational technology company, Microsoft, has officially announced the appointment of Yuan Xin as the new President of Microsoft China.
Back in March last year, the tech giants announced the appointment of Dr. HOU Yang as the Chairman & CEO of the Greater China Region. Yang succeeded Alain Crozier to lead Microsoft’s Global Sales, Marketing, and Operations organization in the Greater China Region, who has served as Chairman and CEO of Microsoft GCR since 2016.
However, with the announcement of the appointment of Yuan Xin as the new President of Microsoft China, she will be reporting directly to Hou Yang, the Chairman, and CEO of Greater China.
Yuan Xin, the newly appointed President, will now lead Microsoft’s business in China and actively support the cloud market development for all types of businesses. By relying on the benefits of Microsoft’s intelligent cloud, more Chinese businesses will be able to expand into the global market, and more international businesses will be able to do the same. The business is rooted in China, empowering more companies to develop in-depth in the industry and unleashing the huge potential of the Chinese market.
With over 20 years of expertise in the Information Technology sector, Yuan Xin has worked for software giants including VMware, Oracle, and Hyperion. Likewise, before this appointment, she had served in varied positions ranging from Technical director, sales director, general manager of the business department, vice president, and general manager of China, among others.
