Microsoft has launched a new version of the 85.0.564.41 Edge browser that was previously launched this Monday. The upgrades and improvements in performance and functioning are noticeable.
There are options of side-bar search, collections sent to OneNote, developers’ handy development tools for optimization, and other improvements on the front of security. You can now highlight the PDF on this version using the new tool given and various colored highlighters and erasers can be used for the purpose.
Microsoft Edge browser 85 version can also help in synchronizing the data on the browser like the extensions, passwords, favorites, and Azure Active Directory(AAD) profiles. The last one is a Microsoft service that allows the users to access Office 365, Workday, and Google by just using the sign-in option.
However, the Historical records and the tags cannot be still accessed using the AAD configuration synchronization. This is beneficial for the customers who are in the education sector and have been preparing for the continuous school season. This has been added as an experiment here. The IT Home can sense the request for enabling IE mode in the Edge browser through the following steps-
Icon Settings> Default browser> Internet Explorer Compatibility
The developers have more developed tools for disposal like the support for Surface Duo emulation, VS code matching with the shortcuts in keyboards, and so on. There are also fixed glitches on the security front for the latest Chrome browser project.
The users can also share QR codes, use PWA for desktops, debug CSS grid, move tools between panels and the browser can check for updates in the settings and update eventually on it own to the latest version. Microsoft’s official website is the place where the users of Non-Edge browsers can download the same. Start downloading and using Edge 85’s new version to know more.
