Although Apple’s strategic issues and policies are obstructing Microsoft from fostering its xCloud game service to the iOS platform, Xbox director Phil Spencer, in the latest interview on Monday, 21st Sep, assured that Microsoft is discussing the issue and is looking forward to bring xCloud to Apple’s iOS platform.

We promise to bring xCloud to all mobile terminals, including Apple’s huge ecosystem. For consumers there — and the people I see on Twitter who keep asking about it — they only need to know, we will definitely promote (xCloud) there. We will work on this- Phil Spencer, the director of Xbox.

It was last week that Microsoft released the xCloud cloud gaming service. However, the germane policies of the Apple App store have refrained from relying on streaming media from the cloud which indicated that the cloud game service including the xCloud cannot be assured presence in the iOS App Store.

Other cloud services like Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce, too can not be granted place by Apple. Thus the xCloud cloud gaming service is available only on Android devices.

It has been a short time when Apple adjusted its policies to grant xCloud and Stadia a place in the app store with some additional conditions. The Microsoft services like xCloud and Stadia were given a place in the Apple App Store provided that the games in the streaming service must be downloaded separately from the application store of Apple.

Moreover, the streaming services were asked to prohibit subscribers from buying several games at a time. Microsoft is one of those companies that are battling against Apple’s policies to safeguard the presence of their gaming service on the iPhone.

This time Microsoft has assured that they are looking thoroughly into the matter and assures the consumers to bring their game streaming service as soon as possible on iPhone.
