In a recent preview of the last updated Windows 11, Microsoft introduced a slew of new features and several moderate changes to the operating software. Among the most enthralling of the new features concerns Windows 11’s window title bars.
Microsoft employed the Mica theme effect in the software’s title bars. Also, the run dialog with the shortcut Windows Key + R has a more modern outlook inconsistency with the overall feel of Windows 11.
It is not a complete overhaul. But little restructurings such as these give a new operating system ambiance.
One of Windows 11’s most beautiful features, the Mica material or theme, gives the title bar a translucent appearance. The material is visible in the dark mode and aligns with the background color of Windows apps to create a more modern translucent color theme.
- Other Enhancements
Windows 11 also has a recent transition animation that displays when changing between captured window states. Describing the said changes in the operating software, the developer explains that the new transition animation provides more fluidity to the transition process.
The Windows 11 File Explorer also displays previews of files tucked inside folders. When charging, the battery charging icon is no longer a power cable as seen in earlier Windows operating software. Instead, a lightning bolt that will make it easier to observe lower charging states is seen.
The ALT + TAB feature also had some tweaks in Microsoft’s recent update on the Windows 11 OS. Per the snap group, the developers have also added the desktop wallpaper to its visuals to differentiate the user’s groups from conventional windows. The new desktop wallpaper will show when using ALT + TAB in the latest Windows 11 version.
The above changes are strictly accessible to Windows 11 Build 22554 Insiders and above but should go public this year.
