Microsoft has made its service Movies Anywhere available across multiple devices and has announced it via a blog yesterday, August 6.
Movies Anywhere of Disney allows you to store all of your favorite films and libraries in one place. For enjoying the same on all of your devices, you need to connect your Microsoft account with your Movies Anywhere account.
The device types compatible with this service are Windows 10, Xbox, iOS, Android, smart TVs and even the streaming devices. Eligible movies can be watched via the Movies & TV app on Windows 10 and Xbox.
The entire convenience can be enjoyed for free of cost, as the company claims. As part of the launch of this newness, the movie X-Men: Days of Future Past can be added to the digital collection for free, and for a limited time period.
Movies Anywhere already support the films that are bought from Google, Amazon, and Apple. Microsoft becomes the new partner of Disney on this within this week.
Some sources are still not sure about the confirmation and have said that an official announcement on Microsoft’s website has been taken down, presently redirecting to an error page. But the blog written by Athima Chansanchai on the company website is still live, which further solidifies the fact that the support is indeed coming. However, there’s no exact date or any other detail provided in the blog.
