Microsoft had plighted that it would offer Surface Duo 2 with three-year updates. The American multi-tech giant Microsoft officially unveiled the spanking new Surface Duo 2 at the Microsoft Surface Event 2021, which took place on September 23; the new Surface Duo 2 is pre-installed with the Android 11 system. Notably, this is the second attempt at Microsoft’s Android dual-screen folding phone.
IT grounds had learned that Microsoft also vowed the same information when it released the first generation of Surface Duo. Microsoft is always too keen to provide felicitous products to users considering all the previous innovations.
“It is worth noting that the first-generation Surface Duo is still running Android 10. A Microsoft spokesperson said in a press meeting.
And he added that “We are still committed to providing updates for Surface Duo, and strive to bring Android 11 to existing customers before the end of this year.”
It is known that the new Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is wrapped up with a mainstream camera and also a triple camera frame featuring a 12-MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 16MP with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 12-MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The new Surface Duo 2 is powered up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It also supports 5G network connectivity. As far as battery efficiency is concerned, the phone is equipped with a built-in 4449mAh battery with a fast-charging option.
According to Microsoft, the new Surface Duo 2 will go on sale on October 5 and come up with the price tag at $1499.99 (Roughly 1,10,642).
