Microsoft and Truffle collaborate to improve Blockchain solutions for developers. For this purpose, the technological infrastructure of the company Truffle will be integrated into Microsoft Azure. The latter is a solution in the cloud that provides storage space in the digital space. It is primarily aimed at software developers.
Truffle, in turn, is a development environment that tests the Ethereum blockchain framework and aims to make life easier for developers. With Truffle, users can create smart contracts, among other things.
Microsoft has also recently released an extension to Visual Studio Code that provides developers with an integrated development environment. Not only should they be able to create smart contracts, but also to test development components for private and public blockchains. Tim Coulter, CEO of Truffle:
From the beginning, it became clear that the Ethereum developers needed professional and cutting-edge development tools. With the growing acceptance of Blockchain technology by companies, Truffle recognizes the importance of this opportunity to bring our experience to business developers around the world through our partnership with Microsoft.
Marc Mercuri, Principal Program Director of Azure Blockchain Engineering, adds:
“Our developers expect a world-class Microsoft experience, backed by the best of Azure and open source. The Truffle integration shows that we continue to invest in collaboration with the open source community. Integrating Truffle Suite with Visual Studio Code and Azure DevOps will deliver a world-class developer experience for customers targeting Azure Blockchain Service and public Ethereum.”
Truffle came from the blockchain investment and development firm ConsenSys. The blockchain recently invested $3 million in Truffle. According to the company, ConsenSys aims to promote expansion in the corporate sector.
