Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox disclosed the prices of next-gen gaming consoles Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. After a lot of speculations Microsoft has finally confirmed the reports regarding the pricing of next-gen Xbox gaming consoles. According to a tweet put out by Xbox it was revealed that Xbox Series X will cost $499 (Estimated Retail Price) and the Xbox Series S will cost $299 (Estimated Retail Price).
Both the gaming consoles are set to be globally launched on November 10. The pre-orders will start on September 22. Xbox Series X is stated to be the most powerful console ever made by Xbox. Likewise, Xbox Series S is the smallest offering yet by Microsoft’s video-gaming brand.
Microsoft has tried to keep the pricing within an accessible range so as to reach maximum gamers across the globe. The Xbox Series S promises to offer faster load times, quick resume feature, and higher frame rates. Features include DirectX Ray tracing, Variable Rate Shading, and high frame rates of up to 120 FPS. The Xbox Series X console will possess 4K resolution and 60 FPS as standard. However, the frame rate for certain games in multiplayer can increase up to 120 FPS.
