Microsoft announced that its popular Surface Book 2 laptop will now be available in 17 markets, including India, and is on a course to be global. This includes both the 13-inch and 15-inch models of the Surface Book 2, with pre-orders starting from today.
The 17 markets are of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
As for other Surface markets, the laptop will be made available later in 2018. These include Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
The specific date for these other markets is yet unknown, but we will provide updates as soon as received. Meanwhile, an overview of the features of the laptop includes the updated 8th-Gen Intel Core processor. The graphics processors are dedicated to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1050.
The laptop can also be used as a tablet (thanks to the touchscreen display), earning it a 2-in-1 tag. The operating system is, of course, the Windows 10. Microsoft claims that the battery life can offer up to 17 hours of usage.
