According to sources, the new Microsoft Surface Pro 8 will be launched in 2021.
This news has been doing the rounds among retailers in Europe. The available models will be Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE options, offering up to 32gigs of RAM from Microsoft. This memory might not be present in the standard version, however.
Win future has suggested such a launch in early next year. There will be a new Black variant besides the Surface Pen and cover support. Platinum Grey will also be another color and the LTE version will not get the Black version, according to the same sources.
A wireless module will also be available for the Surface Pro 8 that shall come with an integrated antennae system that is factory fitted, and 5G might not be available for Surface Pro 8.
There will be an Intel Core i5 of the 11th generation with Intel Xe graphics that will power the new device’s base variant.
There will be an 8 GB / 128 GB variant and a 16 GB / 256 GB storage variants. The memory of the device might be clocked at 4267 MHz.
The display will have a 3:2 aspect ratio with 2736 X 1824 pixel density and a 12.3-inch screen.
The 32GB of RAM with Intel Core i7-1165G7 quad-core processor variant for the non-LTE version will be priced at €3000 ($3,650 approx), and the clock speed will be 4.7GHz in the 1TB SSD variant.
January can be the launch date and the Surface Laptop 4 might also be launched at the same time and the new laptop can come with an AMD variant .
AMD has recently thought of launching the Ryzen 5000 chipset for the phones at CES next year. So, all in all, it could be speculation about whether Microsoft can avail of the new chipsets and use them to their benefit.
