In the flagship phones of Xiaomi, like Redmi MIX 2, Redmi 6, and several other models, the recent system update containing the MIUI 9.5 is seen to have a lot of errors and bugs. The system included alarm clock skips set timings because of bugs. There is also a serious problem of high power consumption.
This is probably the first time Redmi phones are showing such issues in a stable update. MIUI officials responded to this unforeseen problem in a hurry as well.
According to the MIUI engineers, if any user actively installs the Google framework and its bucket of applications, the concerned mobile phone will have the serious problems listed above, in addition to problems with third-party apps like WeChat. Users with this problem can temporarily uninstall the Google Framework until a solution comes up. MIUI engineers promised that to avoid such problems in the future; they would hold many tests. If the Google Framework is included as bloatware, the user would also need to uninstall it.
Xiaomi is currently in talks with Google for a mutual solution to this problem because it frequently causes to get the device to hung and high power consumption. After analyzing the logs uploaded to the forum, it was confirmed that the Google GMS frequently sent the system commands in such an order, that was time-consuming and led to a long broadcast queue. There are a lot of anomalies happening in smartphones because of this.
