Prior to the game’s major unveiling in September, Infinity Ward released additional information about the multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The Modern Warfare 2 Farm 18 map has recently been shown for the first time by Activision and Infinity Ward. The recent video posted to social media gives viewers a few sneak peeks of the new map as well as additional details on how it was made and how it will function.

Having just a little less than two months till release, Infinity Ward and Activision have been stepping up promotion for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. They recently released a brief teaser for the Farm 18 map, another of the forthcoming multiplayer maps that will be accessible in the Beta test.

What is known about the COD Modern Warfare 2 Farm 18 map?

For Modern Warfare 2, two maps have now been unveiled by the game’s developer, Infinity Ward. The first, Grand Prix, is set on a racetrack, and it was initially made public to players during CDL Champs. The second, Farm 18 mpa draws influence from a prior setting shooter fans might have seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Shoothouse from 2019.

Modern Warfare 2 Farm 18 map is located in an old-fashioned cement plant, and the center of the map is a Shoot House-style structure with lots of tight corners and mayhem as well as possibilities for retreating and engaging in long-range battles. The region around appears to be a straight paved road with several obstructions obstructing lines of sight.

“It’s a fantastic mix between all departments trying to achieve the right harmony to guarantee we got a stunning realistic looking place while still being entertaining for the gamers to enjoy,” said senior artist Ashley Thundercliffe.

Conclusion

Despite receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from both fans and reviewers, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare undoubtedly got criticism for some of its maps, such as Piccadilly, which was condemned for its level of design.

To avoid running into the same problem again, developers will work really hard to create the best experience with maps. Beginning September 16 on PlayStation initially, then moving to other platforms, the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta will be accessible for the fans.
