Nightwolf made his debut in the 1995’s Mortal Kombat 3 and is going to make his appearance in the Mortal Kombat 11. NetherRealm has revealed the complete gameplay of Nightwolf. Nightwolf will make his appearance with his trademark moves which include magic bow and arrows, tomahawk lighting attack and his shoulder charge.
Nightwolf can also deflect projectiles back at his opponent by sticking out his chest at the right time. That is not all. Nightwolf also has the power to teleport himself behind his foe. Nightwolf’s fighting skills are something to make note of.
Nightwolf’s Fatal Blow makes him call on the power of the bear and the wolf before he fires three green arrows into his opponent. He then slams his tomahawk into their neck and uses it to channel lighting into their head.
The visuals are as gory as it sounds. When he is done breaking the bones of his enemy, he is seen howling as the camera shoots up to reveal a wolf howling under the moon. The official statement regarding Nightwolf’s background is as follows:
Nightwolf, born as Grey Cloud, is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good and chosen by the Great Spirit to become the Matoka tribe’s champion and protector.
Along with his signature tomahawk swing, Nightwolf possesses extraordinary magic that allows him to manifest weapons created from spirit energy to fight for the Matoka’s future and defend all of Earthrealm.
Early access to Nightwolf begins on 13th August. However, the sale will commence a week later. The Kombat Pack owners will also get the Klassic Arcade Fighter Skin Pack featuring Jax, Kung Lao, and Kano, as well as the new War Games Sonya Blade Skin.
Games such as Shang Tsung, Sindel, and Spawn have already been released on the Kombat Pack. Now two more guest characters, the Terminator and Ash Williams, will also soon be announced.
