Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola had already introduced its Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone in India in the last week of February. Motorola revealed at that time that the smartphone will come with a 144 refresh rate and that under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Finally, on March 4, the smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting from 12 o’clock.
The Moto Edge 30 Pro features a 6.7-inch of full HD+ OLED display, and the display offers a refresh rate of 144Hz as mentioned above. At the time of its introduction, the company had also revealed that the latest smartphone from the company will be running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, the smartphone features a 4800mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging.
As for the back of the smartphone, it comes with a triple rear camera setup. The camera setup consists of a 50MP main shooter, another 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front side of the Moto Edge 30 Pro comes fitted with a 60MP selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The revealed specs make it clear that although it is a new smartphone, some of its features are generic as pointed out by some users.
Motorola will make the smartphone available in two colors: Cosmos Blue and Stardust White. The Moto Edge 30 Pro will be available in a single memory variant: 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is priced at INR. 49,999, and it will go on sale on March 4 at 12 PM on Flipkart and other retail stores across India. Internationally, it has the variant of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
