First things first, the Moto G42 is said to get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. This will keep the device in direct competition with the Realme 9i as it also runs on a similar processor. The chipset has a clock speed of 2.4GHz along with the Adreno 610 graphics processing unit (GPU).
The smartphone could also get 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage. However, at the time of launch, we can see multiple RAM and storage variants coming our way. In addition, expectations are that the device will also get the Android 12 operating system that will offer near to stock Android experience like other Moto phones.
