After confirming that the Moto G84 5G will be launching globally in India this September, Motorola last week officially announced the release of the Moto G54 5G in China on September 5th, as revealed in a Weibo post. Moto G54 5G will be the successor to Moto G53 5G, which was introduced in December 2022.
Ahead of this date, the TENAA website has leaked the pictures and battery capacity of the device. Meanwhile, the Moto G84 5G has been the subject of multiple leaks. Notably, well-known tipster Evan Blass shared renders of this upcoming device a few days ago on Twitter.
As leaked by Slashleaks, the upcoming Moto G84 5G is expected to come in black, white, and other colors and is said to be powered by a 4850mAh battery, as showcased on the TENAA websites. Although previous reports said the device will feature a 6000mAh battery and support 30W. Now let’s look at the full specs of the new Motorola smartphone.
Moto G54 5G Full Specs
The Moto G54 is said to boast a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, it is set to sport a 120Hz refresh rate coupled with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone will be 196g in weight and have measurements of 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.89mm. Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, SAR sensor, Sensor Hub, and E-Compass will all be part of the sensor array. Numerous technologies, including GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou, will offer location services.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor will be housed within the phone. It will come in two memory configurations: an entry-level model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM and a higher model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.
The Moto G54 will use a dual camera setup for photography. The Main Camera will be 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture, Quad Pixel technology, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
While the ultra-wide Angle camera has an 8MP sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, and 1.12 mm pixels. It has an ultra-wide angle field of vision of 118 degrees, auto-focus, and macro capabilities. and a 16MP self-portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture and 1.0 mm pixels.
Additionally, the device will have a USB-C 2.0 port that supports 30W TurboPower charging. It will have two microphones and a dual speaker arrangement. The phone will include both face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It will function with My UX on Android 13.
