Lenovo-owned Motorola is going to roll out an early preview of the Android Nougat update for Moto Z Play smartphones. As per the news published on Android Police, the company is to release its Nougat update in the coming March. It is known that the Verizon variant of Moto Z has already got its Nougat update in November.
According to the company, “The tip we’ve received tells us that people in the Feedback Network with a Z Play will be getting the early preview version and that Motorola is “moving quickly” on this. The email asks that users take an enrollment survey if they wish to take part, but prospective testers must be a member of good standing of the Motorola owners Forum to be included.”
It’s not yet confirmed whether the company will add the Verizon-exclusive Moto Z Droid addition into its software preview or not.
