The next generation of wireless technology is the 5G network which is set to make a bunch of enhancements to the speeds at which our phones connect. Motorola and Verizon announced that the 5G Moto Mod supports Moto Z2 Force. The Moto Mod was previously only compatible with the Moto Z3, but now as the company says, it will also support Moto Z2.
The 5G Moto Mod features a 2,000mAh battery that promises to bring up to 24 hours of use and 12 days of standby time. It will come with a USB-C port for charging and the Snapdragon X24 modem for improved 4G LTE speeds.
The company claims to bring further improvements to the Moto mod with improved battery life, and faster speed that will bring faster uploads and downloads and less time waiting for those connections to begin.
With an updated powering system on the 5G moto mod and Moto Z, users will be able to power other devices. It works just as simple – suppose the Moto mod’s battery is low, the battery of the Moto Z will charge the 5G Moto and vice versa.
The 5G Moto Mod is currently available in 30 cities with three Motorola devices that are compatible with Moto Mod.
