Both the devices have been leaked before its announcement. Motorola one leaked in late June this year and Motorola One power were also leaked online earlier this year.
Specs, Features, and Price –
Motorola’s One Power will come with a 6.18-inch 19:9 screen added with a notch. It is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 636 processor and a massive 5000mAh battery. And yet the phone is still apparently less than 9mm thick. There are dual cameras on the rear, a 16-megapixel sensor, and a 12-megapixel camera up front for selfies. No specific details of the non-power version have been published.
The Motorola One is a descriptively named, affordable Android One smartphone. It’s a completely unskinned version of Google’s OS that meets a variety of technical standards, helping to “optimize the user experience” and improve security.
The Motorola One has some impressive hardware and design features, it’s almost bezel-free with an atypical 5.9-inch, 19:9, HD+ (720 x 1520) IPS display, complete with its very own notch. The Snapdragon 625 CPU and 4GB of RAM running the show isn’t the worst combo around, but neither are they the best in comparison to many other Android handsets that offer slightly faster chipset.
It has a dual camera setup pairing a 13-megapixel, f/2.0 lens with a secondary 2-megapixel f/2.4 sensor. It also features a portrait mode when viewed on the screen, with the subject looking reasonably sharp against the blurred background just like the iPhone X.
Both the devices are in the Android One program, with monthly security patch updates. The updates are still handled by Lenovo/Motorola and not Google, so the updates are not guaranteed to roll out on the same day as the monthly security patch bulletins are published.
The Motorola One will be available at €299 in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific in the coming months. The Motorola One Power will be available in India starting in October.
