Update: Motorola US has officially confirmed us through Twitter that for now, they do not have any plans for Android 10.
The new Wi-Fi certifications of the Motorola One Zoom and the Moto Z4 will soon receive an Android 10 OS upgrade. Moto One Zoom has appeared with the model number XT2010 and Moto Z4 with model number XT1980. The Android One edition of One Zoom is called the Motorola One Pro.
Motorola One Zoom was announced in September, and it is one of the non-Android One devices. However, according to the latest news, now that the phone has been spotted with the Android 10 on WFA, the device will soon receive the OS update. The Android update is supposed to take place sometime before the end of December 2019.
The Motorola Moto Z4, on the other hand, was announced in May 2019. Unlike the Motorola One Zoom aka the Motorola One Pro, the Moto Z4 smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS.
What does it mean for the Moto Z4 to have a WFA appearance? It may mean that Moto Z4 could be one of the non-One series branded phones from Motorola to have the latest Android version. It is not yet known when Moto Z4 will get the update or even if the update will come to Moto Z4 before the end of 2019. Some reports reveal that the Android 10 will be the last major OS update for the Moto Z4. The next update for Androids called the Android R (Android 11) would not be coming to the Moto Z4 users.
Motorola has yet to release a list of devices that will get the Android 10 upgrade. It should be mentioned that Android 10 was announced in August, and so far Motorola has not said anything about its devices getting the latest OS upgrade. Incidentally, Motorola has recently released Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Play, Moto E6, Motorola One Macro, and One Action. In all probability, one of these phones will get the Android 10 update.
