A blatant copy of iPhone X. Soon after the iPhone’s notched design was launched many Android companies started producing devices with the similar design. But at least they made sure to make certain differences. Smartphone brand Motorola has been highly criticized for making a ridiculous iPhone X clone.
Motorola P30, a phone for the Chinese market has copied the look of iPhone X. Reviewers say that the new Moto P30 was a “brazen” and “egregious” rip-off of Apple’s flagship device. The company even went so far so as to embellish the screen with wallpaper same as that of Apple’s default wallpaper for the iPhone X.
The criticisms continued as many have reviewed it as disappointing. Technology bloggers considered it to be the most shameless rip yet. It also went a step further when Google’s AI was asked to identify an image of the P30 and found that Google thought it was, in fact, an iPhone X.
Other than the shameless cope the phone sports mid-range features. It is to come with a 6.2-inch screen, powered with a Snapdragon 636 processor, 6GB of RAM, a 16/5-megapixel camera on the back, along with a 12-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
The Phone is to arrive in this year’s September, to be available exclusively in China.
