However, as we just discovered via a Twitter post, the mobile brand has officially launched the Motorola RAZR 2022 for ¥5999/₹70,600 today.
The news was broken by the well-known leaker @Yabhishekhd via its official Twitter page. However, the leaker didn’t reveal whether the other two anticipated devices – Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro have been launched but only confirmed the Razr 2022. Motorola RAZR 2022 Specifications
The new Motorola RAZR 2022 comes with a 6.7-inch main display with a 144Hz refresh rate. That’s the highest refresh rate on any foldable phone to date. The outer screen of the phone will measure 2.7-inches, unchanged from the previous Razr model.
Additionally, the Motorola Razr 2022 is also confirmed to house the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, making it a true flagship compared to its predecessors that didn’t get top-tier Qualcomm chips.
In the camera department, the Razr 2022 gets a 50MP + 13MP rear camera and a 33-watt 32MP selfie shooter. While for the battery capacity, the device sports a 3500mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging. Also, the Razr 2022 comes with a 198 gram and runs Android 12 out of the box.
Motorola RAZR 2022 Design
Since the previous iteration, there have been major changes to the design. changing from the traditional retro style and resembling the well-liked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The device’s distinctive chin has been eliminated, allowing the interior display to span its entire length.
The fingerprint reader has also relocated and is now located on the power button. It was placed on the back of the previous phone, whereas the original Razr had it on the chin.
