Motorola XT2055-2 “Blackjack” With 5000 Mah Battery Appeared on FCC

According to an FCC filing, Motorola has filed a new product called XT2055-2 which will release soon. The company has given the code name “Blackjack” to the smartphone. The phone will reportedly have a larger battery with a possible 5000 mAh battery capacity.

However, Motorola XT2055-2 may not support dual-band Wi-Fi as it seems to be an entry-level device focusing on battery life. The smartphone will only support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The test reports suggest that the phone is an entry-level model and measures 6.88 inches diagonally. We expect the phone to have a display of around 6.6 inches. Some are also predicting that XT2055-2 can be Motorola one line-up Android One device. However, we don’t have any further news on that.

The Motorola XT2055-2 also have two other variants: XT2055-1 and XT2055-3. According to the rumors, the smartphone successfully passed the WLAN tests of the authority at the US regulatory authority FCC in December 2019.

Motorola XT2055-2 may not be a part of the Motorola G8 series. A report also suggests that it can either appear as a Motorola or Lenovo device. We still don’t have any confirmation as FCC has not revealed any further details yet.

Apart from this particular model, Motorola also filed an XT2043 model with a 4000 mAh battery along with XT2045, XT2052, and XT2053 models. We have to wait for an official statement from Motorola’s site to get more details on the newer model from the company.
